Organized by percussionist extraordinaire, Fernando Rocha, the festival will feature percussionists from Argentina, Brazil, Canada, and the USA, in a wide variety of styles. Check out the teaser video!

The programme will include a tabla solo in Teentaal, Bruno Paquet's Les arbres célestes, Tawnie Olson's Something to Say, and Payton MacDonald's 4th Concerto for Tabla and Percussion Quartet, which I'll be performing with the UFMG Percussion Ensemble, directed by Fernando Rocha. Here is a clip of the concerto, from the premiere performance at PASIC 2013:

Really looking forward to bringing the tabla down south. It's going to be an amazing festival!
