Transmission is an occasional contemporary music series curated by Xenia Pestova and Ed Bennett and taking place in the beautiful surroundings of St. Catherine’s Church on Telegraph Hill in South East London. Their aim is to present explorative and thought-provoking concerts which feature exceptional performers and composers in a welcoming and inclusive environment. In the innovative new 1+1 concerts, they feature leading contemporary classical soloists and improvisers performing notated and spontaneous music side by side on wonderful and unusual instruments.
